Gas in Coral Bay

Post by needmesomesun »

Can anyone living on island chime in on the likelihood of a gas station coming back to Coral Bay? Is there any talk? We used to stay on the east side of the island often, but stopped once the gas station closed. We were just wondering if there is any news about one coming back, or being put in.

Thanks!

They just completely took down the the old one... two days later a big yellow and green tank (looks like a small house on wheels) showed up with
a gas pump on the front??? Could we be getting gas out here? Wait to see but looking very strange right now just sitting near the triangle.

Rumor has it we will get one but no talk of when - even if they started it now it would probably be at least a year (or two) before it was ready to open. I believe the yellow and green "tank" is what they used to pump the remaining gas out of the gas holding tanks so they could be dug up and removed at the (now) torn down and demolished Domino station
