Whales

I have seen at least four reports of whale sightings in the islands today... thinking of you lucky peeps who are there!

Cindy and I had the good fortune of being aboard Kekoa and seeing the whales yesterday. There were 3 that we saw, about 30 feet from the boat. They have one picture (so far) on their Facebook page. Awesome encounter.

I am so envious of you. One of the best vacation day of my life was whale watching in Hawaii. Where were you when you saw the whales? In the past I have heard most people seeing them on the East end.

They were in the waters between St John and Jost. People on Kekoa saw them as well as people with Capt John. There is an amazing video on Facebook. I will see if Steve can hook the Forum up with it, but my fingers are crossed since we are here!!!

What a great video. Thanks for posting.

We're heading for Vancouver Island, British Columbia in March to watch the whale migration up there. We were really looking forward to it, but even more so now that we have seen the video you posted.

We head back to STJ in May. You're video has really helped to build the anticipation.
