Taxi to upper carolina?
Several people in my group are considering doing a boat day while we're there in April. The problem is that my parents would not be joining us for the day on the water and won't be driving on island (my dad has some dementia problems and my mother is way too scared to drive on island). My question is whether it would be possible for them to be picked up by a taxi from the villa (we're staying at the end of the Majestic Mile) to go into town for a day and then returned via taxi. Just looking for some options so they wouldn't be stuck in the villa day with my dad driving my mom crazy.
Do taxis go out there? If so, any idea on what the charge would be?

You might want to look into this http://stjohnislandtours.com/transporta ... vices.html
I have to add that I have never used their services. Perhaps someone who is familiar with them will offer an opinion.
Hope it all works out for you; enjoy those Upper Carolina views!

Try William Wade 340-998-8699. He is a taxi driver who lives in Coral Bay, very nice guy. Don't know the cost but shouldn't be too bad.
