Booked!
We booked Bongo Bongo for our first trip to St John for next winter.
I am so excited and have really appreciated reading all the advice on this forum. I'm looking forward to booking our jeep and flights soon, and then counting down the months with reading and planning.
Bongo Bongo wasn't even on my original villa list, but as I did more research, it crawled to the top of our wish list. I stretched our planned budget a bit, but that's okay. There were so many good choices that I started a list of places for a future visit now that I have a list of favorites. I'm looking forward to getting a feel for the island because it was hard to decide on location and I can see trying other spots for future visits.
SO excited, but the trip seems soooooo long away

Bongo Bongo looks just luscious. It's close to the top of my "wish I could afford it" list.

Wow! I just looked at Bongo Bongo's website! Awesome!! The outdoor areas look especially comfortable!
Since we go to STJ during the low season it could be a possibility for a future trip!
We splurged on our first trip to St. John too. Although we tried to do it for less $$ this past year, I'm still glad we went "all out" on lodgings for our first trip! You're going to love St. John! And the time is going to fly, your trip will be here before you know it! You'll need to get a ticker to help you count down the days!

Re: Booked!
I am really excited, but I also wonder if we've created a monster by booking the top of our wish list for our very first trip.
Another couple is going with us, so the cost is split by half, and it still stretched both couples' budgets for the trip even in low season. If my husband and I make repeat trips without travel companions, thus carrying all the travel expenses, we will have to seriously revise our villa expectations. But that's a worry for another day.
For the next year, we can daydream about BongoBongo and plan our beach days!
I will add my ticker this week--yay!

We went all out for our first trip to STJ. We stayed at sol inclination, it really made our trip! We spend a good amount of time in the villa so it was the right thing for us...but I am spoiled now!
You won't regret your decision...now enjoy dreaming!
