Ditliff snorkel for first time
Ditliff snorkel for first time
We got lucky and the gate was open, parked at steps going down. Enjoyed a lot ! Sunny day after rainy day yesterday.

Met some locals who said a couple spotted rays live there. We did not see them but enjoyed the snorkel.

Just wondering what is the procedure if the gate is not open when you are ready to leave?cindygad wrote:We got lucky and the gate was open, parked at steps going down. Enjoyed a lot ! Sunny day after rainy day yesterday.

I was worried about that too! The people that came in when we did said once in you could get out,
Yesterday we snorkel Kline bay and there was repairman working on the gate at ditliff .

Hey guys. We stayed at Kaleidoscope last June and walked down to Ditleff a number of times. The two times I snorkeled it was good but not anything special. The summer "south swell" was in full force so you couldn't go out toward or around the point.
As for the gate, once you are in it will open automatically when you leave. Mew saw a lot of locals come in to use Ditleff, so the gate code must not be that we'll kept of a secret!
