Caneel's Turtle Bay Estate House: feedback?

Has anyone eaten here recently? It's one of the last places on island that I have not tried. I can't find much feedback or a menu elsewhere online. I did discover that they dropped the jacket requirement. I am finalizing our reservations for the upcoming trip. Thanks!

It's been almost 3 years but since you're not getting much of a response I'll toss in my 2 cents. I found it to be comparable to an upscale steakhouse in any major US city. Nothing truly remarkable, but I have to admit I'd had a bit of rum that day.

They don't post their menu, and it changes. But here is the menu from 3 years ago. Someone from Rosewood sent it to me and I save a lot of stuff I should just toss.

Thanks, GraysonDave. It doesn't look like my up of tea, which is what I suspected would be the case. I think we will try the new Terrace instead. Maybe we will check the space out for drinks...I think the bar over there opens in the afternoon in the high season.

There are many excellent restaurants on St . John . Caneel's Turtle Bay is NOT one of them . I recommend ; Waterfront Bistro , Ocean Grill , ZOZOs or Cruz Bay Prime .
