A Meal at The Terrace

Post by needmesomesun »

We definitely had to try out The Terrace on our recent trip and it was delicious. We started with the scallops and frog legs.

H loved the frog legs but they were not for me (I really wanted to like them), and it had nothing to do with the way they were prepared, but personal preference.

We then split the lobster salad but I didn't take a photo as they had divided it for us and it would not have represented what one would usually see on a plate. It was delicious.

I had the lamb and loved it.

H had the tuna, but please note, this is not how it is normally served. He asked for them to leave out the olives. The beans were a little underdone for us, but perhaps this is because we wanted the side made differently. The tuna was perfect.

We left with an order of the pecan dessert. We both wanted to try it, but felt we would enjoy it more in a few hours. Again, no photo, as it was not how it is normally served, but it was excellent.

Great photos - thanks. I swear the dining review section will be re-opened before the end of the year!

Thanks Anthony. I figured it would be better to post a few separate reviews for restaurants/food rather than them getting lost in a lengthy report. We only ate dinner out of the villa once during our whole trip, so we chose to try something new. We did have Ted (Ted's Supper Club) come a few nights, but that will require a bit more detail, so we'll work on that and hopefully add it to the reviews section.
