Aside from Morgan's Mango "lobster night"...
Can you recommend other places that have great lobster? Heard mixed reviews lately on the Mango..Thanks~

Husband and son had lobster at Rhumblines on a Sunday night. No view but wonderful setting and great meal. Price was by the pound. I think it was 30 a pound.

Are you getting mixed reviews on Morgan's or on Caribbean Lobster?

I think many people say that they did not like the way it is prepared but what they don't realize is that Caribbean Lobster is very different than cold water lobster and they mistake the flavor and texture as being not prepared correctly.
I have had people tell me that they would never go back to 2 different restaurants because they were served lobster that tasted funny and that had a weird texture. That is Caribbean Lobster!

No, on Morgan's...
But now you have me wondering if I will like "Caribbean lobster"...Is the taste similar at all?

I was also going to recommend the Lime Inn. No view but, like Morgan's, it has been on STJ a LONG time so they must be doing something right.

X brings up a good point, some people (including my friends and family) are unpleasantly surprised by the taste, texture and preparation (grilled) of Caribbean lobster as it is so different from cold water lobsters.

I had the lobster at Zozo's. It didn't blow me away, but then again, I'm partial to the cold water lobstah's.

I will second the Mussels at Lime Inn. Totally delicious.

Being from Maine I would have to agree .. they taste totally different! fOne time on a cruise they were serving "Maine lobster" ... it was surely not cold water lobster.
I was a bit shocked at the price per pound , even for the islands! 30!
We have had an all time low here on lobster all summer.. 3.99-4.50 /lb.. Cheaper than eatting steak! Yumm!

We had Lobster at both Morgans Mango and Fish Trap. Both were excellent. I don't think the Lobster tail at Fish Trap was Caribbean Lobster but I can't remember.
