One more sleep

Vacation time is almost here . . .. It was a horrible start of our vacation as we had to put our 11.5 yr. old rottie to sleep this morning because he had cancer . We know it was the right thing to do for him but it's so hard to lose a furbaby . RIP Spartacus . . . . . .

We are trying to get in vac mode finish packing & head to Baltimore but I just can't get it together . We have made some great plans for Steve Simonsen to take pics on the beach & have Ted cook dinner for us for our anniversary . Looking forward to snorkling & laying on the beautiful beaches & relaxing . Those of you traveling soon maybe we will see you at the Beach Bar !! Next post will be in St. John : ) !!!

So sorry to hear about your loss of Spartacus. I lost my Raycie (lab/retriever) a little over a year ago and sometimes I still tear up just thinking about her. She was the best friend a girl could ever have.
Enjoy your vacation though and rest in the tranquility that surrounds the island. I'm 18 days away and counting. I cannot wait!!

K with so e needy dogs from the animal care center might help or it might be too soon , but either way have an amazing time on island! What a wonderful place for your heart to heal a little!!
