Hubby and I stayed there in May 2010. Another couple (family) was also with us. Don't think I have any pics. handy...but the online pisc. were dead on...except for one. That was the one with the view shown from front porch. The bushes and flowers and trees (?) were all overgrown and we didn't have any view of the water from porch when sitting or dining out there. It has probably been cut back by now I would think. Anything special you want to know ?

Sorry Bill... forget what I just told you!! We didn't stay at Caneel Trailside...it was Villa Tamarindo . They are side by side and share the same driveway. They also look just about identical. I haven't had that bushwacker yet ...so don't know what I was thinking. I Don't drink so I know 1 of those would make me loopy.

You lucky Guy ! I have only dreamed about 1 of his villas. We are looking at Heaven's Gate on East end for next June. Never stayed on that side of the Island before...hoping to have 2 other couples to share cost ! Enjoy your trip and let everyone know how it is going.

We stayed in this villa in 2011. It was a very nice villa and very comfortable for 2 couples. The pool was out back. We missed the sunsets that we were used to when we previously stayed overlooking Cruz Bay and the other islands. The villa overlooks St. Croix but conditions need to be clear in order to see it. When we were there the villa next door was undergoing a renovation which caused some noise but that should be finished by now. The trail was a nice walk and the views were nice. If you have any specific questions let me know.
