Finding a new place to stay..

Post by PaminMaine »

So, "someone" in our family waited to long to decide they wanted to go to STJ next spring and our go to, frugal cottage is already booked! I am starting a search, skimmed through all 6 pages last night on VBRO.. Do not need a deluxe villa, prefer a simple, clean place to stay. Prefer to keep budget around 1500 or less. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

You've got a bunch of great leads, there! I'd suggest our go-to cheap and comfortable accomodations, Cruz Views, as well. And there's Samuel's Cottages and Cinnamon Bay Campground.
Good luck with your search. I'm sure you'll find something!

Wow! Bluebitch looks like a great deal for a waterfront villa with AC in the bedroom, king size bed, private beach, snorkeling, and a sunset view! Thanks for that recommendation.

Plus, we had a old female Amstaff named Blue and the name gives me a good laugh!

Pia... oh my bluebitch is beautiful!! My husband loved it, but he said there wasnt much availability for March? ( 4 days?)
I had each of those links that you sent saved from my search last evening.I liked sailview, but the outdoor kitchen made me a little skeptical as we cook breakfast each day, and some dinners. What exactly does "stocked kitchen" mean on some rentals??
Our needs are pretty simple, would like A/C, 1 bedroom and indoor toilet :P
He has discovered the site homeaway and is liking the condo " Kachira".
Minde- Our go to was samuel cottages. Love Patrice! However, they are booked solid in Feb and March.

Thanks for the help!

Well, then, Cruz Views is just up the street, in the same neighborhood. And low season rates are something like $125/night. And a bunch of NICE folks stay there and meet up at the pool each evening, right Beth Cruz???

I will check them out Minde. Thanks!

I think I remember you posting about a villa you were renting getting broken into?? Or right before you arrived?
