Want to spend time with the doggies

I will be on island for 18 days and want to volunteer at the shelter walking and or caring for the doggies a few days. I know this info has been posted before but who do I contact to volunteer? We have two rescues already so I can't bring anyone home but I'd love to give some time and love to a dog while I'm there. Thx

You can call the ACC at 340-774-1625. They will have you stop by and fill out a little paperwork before actually walking the dogs. Kimber usually takes them out at 8am and 3pm. There is also a popular week-end hike.
It's a good thing to do. All the dogs I walked were friendly and easy to control. But watch out...they're easy to fall in love with, too! Have fun!
