Great view in Chocolate Hole - reasonably priced ...

We stayed @ Moonsong in the Chocolate Hole area this past March and really enjoyed the house... and loved the convenient location! We are going back to the Rock next March and are considering staying @ Moonsong again, BUT, I'd like to investigate some alternatives... I thoroughly enjoy the thrill of the hunt! Here's what we need/want: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, VIEW of WATER/MOUNTAINS/SUNSETS, a/c in bedrooms, hot tub... I don't need granite counter tops, but a very well maintained property is a must.

Moonsong was extremely moderately priced- (was around $3200- plus tax for 9 nights for 3 people, high season) ... and I don't think I will find anything as good - but maybe you folks have some suggestions!

Take a look at Andante By the Sea. Of my 5 trips to St John, this was by far my favorite view and deck. If you can go in April, it's reasonably priced.

Thanks cj... but we can't go in April when the rates go down... We have absolutely NO PROBLEM returning to Moonsong- the house is lovely - the location perfect- the owners/managers (Cloud 9) are wonderful... It's just fun to see what else is out there. The only little flaw with Moonsong is that it's internet is awful because there is no router of in the house - it is in the house next door that they also own (Sundance)... so the signal is very limited...

We stayed here in April - Rendezvous Bay area. Does not have a hot tub, but has a nice pool and otherwise might meet your requirements.

Thank you db...it certainly looks spectacular... but for 3 people for 9 days in March it would be approximately $5650 - and that's based on the site's 2011 rates... I'll stick with Moonsong & pocket the 2K
