Weather for next week/need assurance

Post by kma27 »

I know I have heard this before about being concerned about the weather when you check ahead - it looks like "showers" almost all next week for our trip and I'm getting depressed. Isn't "showers" better than "rain"??? Someone help me feel better, if possible. Thanks!!!

We who live here would be delighted if we had rain next week. What we've had for the last mont are showers, meaning about 40 seconds of light rain every 24 hours.
March is the driest month of the year, and there is only about a 2% chance of rain heavy enough to affect any plans.

Hugo - thank you. I know that's not good for you but it is for all of us who scrimp and save all year for a beautiful vacation. Too bad we can't have it both ways. Thanks again.

even though I know I shouldn't, i stress about the weather too. a lot. unless there is a major system/depression/hurricane in the area, showers are brief and then the sun comes back out. 30% chnace of rain is a typical Caribbean forecast. even 60% isn't a was out. and the forecast will change everyday. it's get more accurate a few days out but even then can be completely wrong. it will be fine!!
