What the heck?

What the heck is up with the site? When I open it I get a continual stream of pages being opened in my taskline. I have watched at least a dozen pages being opened to http\\edge.sharethis.com or something like that.

It is only on my computer at work and only on virgin-islands-on-line.com It does not actually open pages in my screen but runs the script "opening page http\\edge.sharethis.com.............
It runs this at least a dozen time. I just wonder if there is an ad on the page that is causing this.

Me too. I can't hit "back." If I do, it doesn't page back, and in the area where it shows your recent pages, it says "share this."

Thank heavens that lprof is helping me keep things sorted...

It was the ShareThis icon - I got rid of it altogether... doesn't seem like anyone is going to miss it. Let me know if you do -

Thanks Anthony, I was worried of either virus or that you went rogue and VIOL was collecting data from my computer. I wont miss the share this icon.
