New reservation policy for NPS Reef Bay Hike, St. John

Post by Anthony »

Here is some news:

Good afternoon everyone,

Some of you may have seen or heard about this recently. This email is being sent to ensure that you have the most updated information for your guests, readers and all of our visitors to the US Virgin Islands and the National Park.

Transportation vouchers for the National Park Service(NPS) guided Reef Bay Hike must now be purchased through the Friends of the Park Store in Mongoose Junction, or reserved by phone through the store(340)779-8700. The NPS will continue to lead the hike, but the Friends of VI National Park will manage the reservation and booking process. I have attached the full information for you to share with your staff and/or audience and readers. Please be sure to update your sites with this information. Also, please share with all you deem appropriate, we will need your help to get it to all corners of the web.

Thank you for your time and for promoting the premier ranger-led activity in Virgin Islands National Park, the Reef Bay Hike.

Best,

Heather Ruhsam
Development Director

Price is going up from $23 to $30 starting January 15th. Check-in will also move from the Park Office to the Friends store according to the Park website.
Leap, and the net will appear.
