T-Mobile coverage on St. John?
Hi Forum Friends!
We will be headed back to STJ for our second trip this June! I could use some help! We are thinking about switching our cell phone carrier from Sprint to T-Mobile. Can anyone tell me about T-Mobile service on STJ? We haven't selected our villa yet...still not sure how many bedrooms we will need. Last year we stayed on the Coral Bay side and loved it. I have my eye on a few villas in the Catherinberg, Ditleff Point and Mamey Peak Neighborhoods. Wondering about roaming charges?
Thank you, any help is greatly appreciated!

My understanding is that cell phone service on St. John is primarily, if not exclusively, Sprint and AT&T. They certainly appear to be the most reliable.
We purchased an inexpensive Go Phone from AT&T on our last visit and will use it again on our next visit. It worked well wherever we went on the island and there were no roaming charges. There are several affordable service plans you can choose from, depending on the length of your stay and how much you plan on using the phone.

PS: Think about forwarding your stateside calls to the Go Phone.

Hi Forum Friends!
Thanks for the info on T-Mobile! Looks like we should get an inexpensive Go Phone from AT&T.
As I get closer to booking a villa, I am sure to have other questions for my STJ friends! Liked the villa we stayed in June of 2010, but will need something with more bedrooms this time.
Thanks again!
