A couple questions....

1. How big a deal is Halloween on the island? I'll be there with "the girls" and we were wondering what kind of activity there is on Halloween night. I'm also assuming that we don't need to worry about sticking around the villa for Trick or Treaters. They're usually on dark, steep driveways far enough apart that no one would bother due to safety issues.

2. Does anyone know when Vie's reopens for the season? I haven't made it there yet so I'm hoping my fifth trip is the charm! Gotta try her conch fritters!

3. Does Deli Grotto always have those Crack Bars that everyone talks about or do they only make them on certain days of the week? Gotta try those too!

Sorry I don't have any answers but I was wondering what "Crack Bars" were. It sounds like something the feds were looking for a few months ago in Cruz Bay.

Hoosier - Hahahaha!! I think they're some kind of chocolate and coconut dessert bar. They got that nickname because they're so addictive.

Halloween is a big deal at the bars for adult parties- Skinny's, Tap Room, Beach Bar - all had ads for their parties while we were there last week & I have been to Skinny's and BB before & it's lots of fun! I know kids go trick or treating at Mongoose and Wharfside businesses but a local may be able to give you more info. ( they were so cute to watch!)

Vie's wasn't open when we were there, but Vie basically opens when she wants!

Deli Grotto always has crack bars unless they sell out!!

Thanks Eagle Ray! We're gonna miss the kiddies at Mongoose Junction by a day....darn! But we will be able to check out the Halloween bash at Skinny Legs. And I will definitely make an effort to try both the crack bars and Vie's conch fritters if we can catch her open.
