I think your talking about Sandy Spit right off of JVD. There is a little Palm tree. There used to be a larger Palm to but it was gone when we went there 2 years ago. Don't know what happened to it. Here is a partial pic I took.

Ahhh...Sandy Spit...we enjoyed a snorkel there...this pic was taken in 08 I think the tree was destroyed due to a storm? maybe if memory serves me correct
