So I'm at work,tryin'to sling a drink,or twenty-
Fellow forum family member somehow showed up at the bar where I work.
I work WAY OUT "in the sticks"-pine barrens,NJ, and we were the only restaurant open tonight, for miles.-(noone else had electricity in the area...)
So some guy comes in, and asks,"Are you Maho Jim?"
Now, naturally old timers who knew the original would say no, but I'm MJ on this here forum...
It was the most refreshing blast of sunshine talking to this fellow & his wife during a VERY TRYING NJ busy bar...(nobody else was open...)
Great to meet Hiker542 & his wife.
Hope I didn't bug him too much with my stories of the place that I love the most...
I know I'm coming across fuzzy, but it was a long day.
Can't explain to you all how wonderful it was for a forum family member to lighten up my day, and keep me grounded- in person!
To him & her (Gene & Barb),and everyone else-
Smiles-
Jimmy
