I found this link and thought it was neat to look at the beaches there as well...seems most of them are working still. For those interested take a peek: You can switch beaches at the bottom of the page. Topsail, Kure, Nagshead, and Wrightsville beaches

That's cool!! We were just there on Topsail Island!! Looks like the Surf City pier. Thanks for the link.

Thanks...I thought some would enjoy the link..:)

We are about 90 miles from Myrtle Beach which is the closet beach..Wilmington is a little further due the curve of the coastline..So all we are getting here is some wind and rain...and of course yesterday we could see the band of clouds coming in. We had planned on taking our grandaughter to the water park today...but..guess that will have to wait..
