Best birthday present EVER

Post by stjohnnewbie »

Aside from a trip to St. John, of course. (And I know this isn't technically St. John, but for me it is part of St. John.)

My father-in-law with his creation. So cool, right?

Hmmmm.....very cool.....but wouldn't it be easier to just hang the string from a tree limb?

Have fun, but you need to drink some painkillers before you break it in.

That's totally awesome! Now all you need is 3 tons of white sand and a painkiller in your hand~ 8)

Happy b-day! And you'll be the master of the hook when you get back to White Bay~~~
I've got 2 tickets to paradise~Pack your bags we'll leave tonight!

So funny because my son works at a Tiki Bar on Cape Cod which is part of a hotel resort here on the Cape. I was there the other day and people were playing the "game from the Soggy Dollar" in Dennisport Massachusetts!! I told the person next to me that this game was from the BVI's and he told me "No, that actually started in Springfield, Mass" Please tell me he's a liar!! Please!

We were at a party talking about the hook game at the Soggy Dollar and someone chimed in that they play it at their camp. Is it not JUST a Soggy Dollar thing?

Happy Birthday! We have one too- bought the "kit" at SDB several years ago and have it hanging from our patio column and ceiling- play it all the time! Definitely better with painkiller in hand ;-)
