Help me decide on a villa

Post by patr »

Well, finally booked air for a 16 day trip in Nov/ Dec. Now I am trying to decide which villa. I think I've narrowed it down to these:

The Honeymoon Cottage ( afraid it might be too far from town - we do eat most dinners out). Very interested in the seclusion/ privacy.

Hale Lani - love the thoughts of sunsets and easy drive to town.
Sea Cay - again easy drive to Cruz Bay.
Winsome House - would love to stay on the mountain, close to beaches, too far from Cruz Bay?

I had PB Great House (upper) and House of Open Arms on the list, but hubbie doesn't like the idea of other renters on property, so I think I've eliminated these.

Thoughts, or suggestions?

One more note - we MAY have another couple join us for one of the weeks, but they are not committed, same as last year, we rented a 2 BR and they didn't come.

Terry Witham from Honeymoon Cottage is wonderful to work with, but the cottage is inappropriate for two couples though. It's only about 15-20 minutes into Coral Bay. Nov./Dec. should be perfect for this villa - we were there right after the first rains and the mosquitoes were fierce. The privacy is wonderful - although the hot tub gazebo is next to a donkey trail - so don't be surprised if you have visitors!

There is a recent review of Sea Cay on the Trip Advisor forum. Check it out.
