Virgin Islands Photos from the Air via LIAT Airlines

Post by ms411 »

Thanks to the tips in the St John
Snorkeling Photos thread, I've got enviable photos of the VI taken when I was on a LIAT flight to Grenada! You can see them here:

Please feel free to correct the photo locations. I was concerned with the shot before we passed the islands, clouds appeared, my batteries died, or my memory card filled up, so I had to figure out (with help from my co-worker) as to where the photo was!

Seeing the islands by air really makes me appreciate living here! Soooo beautiful!

So lucky! Great shots! I love how you can see the reef around Caneel and Trunk. Fun! Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful shots! St John is beautiful from every angle! You know what would be so cool?... a series of pictures of locals doing what they do every day in every day situations. We met the most delightful young woman and her son at the laundry mat. When she found out that I taught elementary school we had the most wonderfully real conversation about her wishes for her son an his education. She and her son were so beautiful! To often we visitors forget that real people with every day lives exist in this amazing place.
