What am I doing wrong with my video?
I wanted to finish up our trip report, but I need to be able to do a vid. presentation in movie maker. My videos don't want to down load into it. It sais they arn't compatable. They are in Quick time. Any one know what to do? I have been working on this for days now!

Hey Ruby!
I don't know if this will work or not but open up www.tinypic.com, click on File type: Video, click browse and click on the video you want to upload that is saved on your computer.
Click Upload Now.
It should give you a code for forum postings. Copy and paste that code into your trip report message. Click preview to see if it worked.
Good luck!!

This sounds like a pretty simple Windows/Mac incompatibility issue. Quicktime is an Apple format, and Movie Maker seems to be Windows software. You probably need to export any QT clips you have into a different format first, something like WMV or AVI that Windows likes first. If you don't have the options to do this in QT, you may have to upgrade to QT Pro -
Or - maybe you can upload your QT video to some service, and then download it back in a different format.
Looks like there is some freeware mentioned here that will do the job:

Good luck!
