We[re Back - Nine Days So Much Fun!
Exhausted, rolled in about 90 minutes ago. Three hour drive from Myrtle Beach to Columbia, dropped off one couple 30 minutes from home. The grads took off at 1:30 to go home. They had big fun, especially Woody's. My first Woody's visit in six years on island. I enjoyed it because of the fun grads. Wednesday night was too many rum and pineapples but great to meet so many people! Trip report soon come. Had a nice chat with Ruth this morning for about 30 minutes. Love the new Bones Rum Shop below her. Best deal in town, $8.00 drink and you add all the rum you want!

I drive a Silver Toyota Highlander Hybrid. I have a license plate cover and sticker on the back. I have seen one other car with the sticker, a small sports car. I stopped at a light on Garner's Ferry near the Gamecock Bilo and talked to a lady briefly about STJ.
I know you are looking forward to your trip! Do you go every year? This was our sixth summer and already thinking about next year! When we left on Friday, I looked at the work still being done in the park and couldn't imagine it being finished in time for the 4th. Guess I was wrong! Jan

I drive a new model black Tahoe. The only thing I have on it is a Gamecock cover over the towing hitch. (GO GAMECOCKS!!!) Think I need to add a STJ sticker!
My husband and I went to STJ on our honeymoon three Augusts ago (stayed one week), and went again last August (stayed 2 weeks). This is our third trip (staying 2 weeks), and we plan to go every year in August!
I'm at Duke Hospital right now for my dad's second open heart surgery, so this year's trip will be the relaxing, restful break we need! It will make the trip even more special than usual!

I always think it's great when couples find STJ early on and keep coming back.
I hope your Dad's surgery went well. You must be stressed right now. My 83 year old Dad had 4 stints inserted about 3 months ago. He went in for routine exam and right to hospital.
It sounds like the timing is just right for your trip in July.
