Fresh Fish

Post by Jumper »

We are just two weeks out from our first week long stay and would like to hear any suggestions for buying fresh fish? We love cooking our own seafood and would like to know if there are any seafood markets or recommended stores?

Thanks!!

Look down by the old car ferry dock there is a fruit stand and a local fisherman will set up there some mornings if you see coolers behind a truck stop and ask what he has for sale. Also coral bay side across from Shipwreck same thing

There was a guy selling mahi-mahi and wahoo along the road near the sign in Coral Bay on Friday afternoon. Can't vouch for him or if he is a regular at that spot but I did see him cutting up a fresh fish and there were people waiting to buy from him.
