Going through customs from BVI question

Post by Iluvstjohn »

Ok....we are finally making headway in finalizing the logistics for our upcoming Anegada and St. John adventure. So my latest question is (and my memory is foggy because every time I've cleared customs coming from the BVI, I've usually had too many painkillers!).... We might have some left over food from our 3 day stint in the BVI's...can we haul it back with us? I am thinking no meat or produce...but the rest should be ok, right?

I don't have an answer for you regarding the meat and produce but I had to share this little story.
On our return from the BVIs with Captain John and our new forum friends NancyB and lawmom and hubbies this past January I too had a few too many painkillers and going through Customs the officer just glanced at my passport really quick and let me through. I said "what no pat down?". And he said "I will pat you down if you want me too!". LOL! I still think that was funny  this was after a full pat down and body scan in Boston.
