It's like anywhere else, some nights there are clouds some nights are clear. When it's clear the stars are wonderful!! It's nice and dark on the island so you can see billions of stars! Sometimes you can even see the Southern Cross, but it's very near the horizon.
The stars don't really show up nicely with a regular automatic camera.
We saw lots of stars and some shooting stars. But, I sometimes find the lights from other villas dotting the landscape and cruise ships passing by just as fascinating as the stars.
