Medical help on memorial day

Post by lablover »

My 3 year seems to have an ear infection. Any ideas on where I can take him *today* on Memorial Day? I called the Myrah Keating Clinic and I'm not getting an answer. It's not urgent but I would like to get it taken care of before it gets worse. TIA!

oh I feel your pain. my daughter needed to see someone while we were there a few trips back. Myrah keeting had to call in a doctor. There is also someone in Cruz Bay.....It was a sunday....My husband said there is an answering service. Call the pharmacy next to the Starfish....and they will help you. He said he remembers having to leave a message but someone called him back!

Thank you for your quick replies. I ended up calling the on-call dr from Cruz Bay family practice and after some discussion we agreed that we would see him first thing tomorrow morning. I was reassured by the fact that he said he was on call all day and I could call him at any point if things got worse between now and tomorrow morning. Also FYI I was able to get in touch with someone at the MK Clinic and they were only seeing emergencies today. Again, thanks for your quick replies.

Just a quick follow up incase anyone searches a similar subject later. We were at Cruz Bay Family Practice at 8 am this morning and saw the wonderful nurse practitioner. We only waited a short time and she was great with our 3 year old. It was an ear infection and treatment is underway. I would highly recommend the Cruz
Bay Family Practice near the Dolphin grocery store.
