Lovin 6 Paq

Post by Capn Dan and Ruby »

For those of you that did not see my response to all of your kind well wishes, I do want to send a shout out about Collett at 6 Paq Dive Center!!! When I told her about not being able to dive for 6 months after my TIA she was so sweet and offered a full refund on our dives for this trip. I did not even have to ask. We really have enjoyed our dives whith her. She helped us to weight properly and has shown us many cool tricks to make our dives more relaxed and enjoyable. She does have a small boat and you do a back roll entry. But she does have a ladder if you need it and is so good about helping us out of the water. I have a back problem and she is always helpful with that. She is so worth the little extra that you pay to go with her!!!!! :D

I've never met Collette, but I'm not surprised she refunded you, considering all the other wonderful things I've heard about her. Yayyy Collette!

That is great!!! we have dove with 6 Paq and had a great experience with Colette and value her level of experience. She was especially great when i had a problem with a tank and she and I had to exchange tanks underwater (and I could have very easily freaked out but she made the experience a very smooth transition!) Hope the rest of your trip is wonderful! :) :)

I remember that. I was surpriced that you guys fixed that underwater. Good job of Colette and you of course.

I also remember Colette had a briefing before that specific dive that was so long I kind of lost my concentration for a little while and I missed that part about fire coral possibly growing on the line. Lets just say that hurts

Colette is good to dive with. She also managed to fix a beach dive when her boat motor died so I could get my certification (this was 2007). I would have been deeply dissapointed if I had missed that (our last day on STJ).

well.. you are a little too kind giving me any credit.. I remember thinking when we took my BC off (since mine was weight integrated and hers was not)that I was just going to fly to the surface. I think it was Steve that helped hold me down while we secured the weight belt  but she was so calm and cool!
I didn't even know you touched the fire coral --ouch!!! poor girl not fun
I am just happy that Ruby is okay and now has extra $ to enjoy the island even more. :D

That is good that you can dive again in 6 months. I like Colette too. That was nice of her to refund your money.
Maggy, I think you have a picture of me touching the fire coral on the rope!

Diana is below you. I remember we cut the dive short due to a strong current suddenly occured.

I forgot to say that I'm so glad you are OK and can go to St John. The ocean will still be there in 6 months and it's not too bad to snorkel either.

Have a great trip!
