Honestly, if it's cold up here when I head down there, I wear sneakers on the plane so as to have something warm when I get back to Dulles. If it's May or June I just wear my Tevas the whole time. It used to be that they wouldn't let me in to Caneel for dinner, but I never wanted to go there anyway! The only other footwear I bring are my flippers. Mrs. JT brings her Tevas and Berks.

...Jerry Jeff Walker did that tune. He's one of those guys I've been aware of for decades and never bothered to pick up any of his records.

yeah, I like both versions, though I think David Bromberg wrote it. Jerry Jeff's cd "Cowboy Boots and Bathing Suits" is all Caribbean oriented songs. A must for us on island trips.
