Yawzi has just been added to my to-do list this year! I'm all about short, flat, easy hikes!

Did you do the snorkel to little lameshur or return to the small beach on the Yawzi trail?

We did that hike last time it is short & sweet...

The Yawzi trail winds through a spectacular xerophytic environment. Nice slide show!
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

Enjoying all your video's. We walked out there but was unsure where to get in to snorkel. Can you give more specific's as where and which directions to snorkel. Is there much current there?

Thanks again for all the u tube video's loved the music along with them.

How to get to the little beach and where we snorkeled

Post by deejayjay »

See the link for a map of the Yawzi point. Shows the spur trail to the beach

http://www.stjohnbeachguide.com/trails/ ... trail.html

The beach enters the west side of Great Lameshur about 2/3s of the way to the Yawzi point. We went to the point just far enough to see Little Lameshur beach.
then we returned to the little beach.

The water was Calm with virtually no current at the point. Every one needs to be careful when going to any of the point.

I'm enjoying your posts, nice job! Yawzi has been one of my favs for years, but we especially like to hang on little lameshur beach after the snorkel run, great spot!
