Chateau Bordeaux

Post by nancyr84 »

We are staying at Casa Bueno in June and saw that Chateau bordeaux is open again. Wondering if anyone had tried it for dinner, we also had a great lunch there and wondered if they are serving lunch on that great deck.

Don't know about Chateau Bordeaux - it didn't look like anything was happening there in December '10. I DO know that you will LOVE Casa Bueno - we stayed there in Dec. - it is awesome.

I have not eaten there since it reopened but it is not the *old* Chateau Bordeaux it has (I believe) new owners/chef/menu and I think this is the second time it has reopened since the old Chateau Bordeaux (French) closed.

Neither did we eat at CB a few weeks ago when we were on island, but what we did notice was weird: they had a sign saying (IIRC) dinner served something like Tuesday thru Thursday... Like I say, it seemed odd and maybe we just mis-read the sign. I do hope somebody makes that a good restaurant again; we used to enjoy CB a few years ago.

When we were there in early March, I thought I saw a sign there that said Banana Jack's or something like that. They were open at lunch and dinner time, but we didn't eat there. Stopped for the view, look at jewelry at Tutu Much next door and shopped at Colorful Corner.
