Cost of sunscreen on St. John?

Hi everyone,
We are thinking of buying our sunscreen on St. John rather than packing in our suitcases. Is it worth doing or is the price much higher on St. John?

You'll want to pack it in checked luggage or ship it down ahead. It is double/triple what it is at home!

Also, the selection isn't great, so if you have a favorite brand, better to buy it on sale at home.

I am a fan of the spray on block. It is usually about $12.95 at both Chelsea Drugs and the concession stand at Trunk Bay - a dollar or two more at the grocery stores. We are carry-on people so are okay with paying the higher price. Also, most villa's usually have some left behind from prior guests.

Definitely pack. You may save a buck or two that way. You can save alot by swimming to SJ too.
