Colibri or Aurora?
Okay, I need just a little more help deciding on a villa for 2 couples. We've narrowed it down to Colibri and Aurora. (Argonauta isn't available.) As always, your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I'm mostly concerned about sunset views from the pool area at Aurora and any recent construction noise at Colibri. Also if there are 2 equal (king) bedrooms at Colibri. We haven't done the two twins before.
Thanks!

Villa choices and noise
Hi there. I have stayed at Colibri. It was very nice. That was a few years ago. I think you may have a noise issue now. A monster villa is under contruction near by to the left of Colibri. We stayed on Great Cruz Bay in Dec and got a peek at it from a distance. It was at the end of our road. Hopefully others will chime in and give some updates....God bless...Bill

That monster villa has been in the works for 5 years! We stayed at Palm Hill right next to Colibri two years ago, and the construction noise was really bad. Of course, that was when they were renovating Colibri, too, so it was especially noisy.
That's why I'm hoping for feedback from anyone who's been there recently. Thanks for your input.
Colibri is soundproofed. They were pouring concrete on the monster villa when we stayed at Colibri last summer and we could not hear a thing when the sliders were closed. However, as I mentioned in one of your earlier threads, I do not think that I would consider the masters equal at Colibri.

Thanks, liamsaunt. Your input on the bedrooms was why I took it off my list in the first place, but we decided to consider it again when Argonauta was unavailable. My concern with the noise is more about the outdoor spaces. Catered To said they haven't had complaints about the noise since the phase of construction when the foundation was being poured.
