Happy Fish

Post by kristen1206 »

Just read about this place in a TR on TA. Can someone tell me more about it? I know you can get carryout sushi and that it is in the Starfish complex. Sounds ideal for our first night..we can pick up groceries and then dinner to eat at the villa. How is the food quality?

Love, Love, Love Happy Fish! Yes, they do carry out, but be prepared to wait a while - maybe place your order, then shop and stop back to pick up after. The food is really excellent, have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed.

I eat there A LOT! They have great food. I was never a fan of sushi until I started eating at Happy Fish. Have tried a couple sushi places in the states and soon found that I am a fan of Happy Fish sushi, not just sushi :) They do take out from 5-6pm...and that is about it. They make everything to order and are usually pretty busy with 'sit down' customers for dinner hours. They are often packed with locals and tourists. Great food, you wont be disappointed!

Glad to hear such positive feedback! Hopefully we can make it there during their carry out hours. Do they have a regular sushi menu/list (with different rolls)? The online menu I found doesn't show much in the way of sushi.

I don't think they have their menu online any place. It's a pretty big menu, lots and lots of rolls, other entrees, and appetizers. They have one of their menus posted on the window so you can check it out even if they aren't open. If you decide to sit down and eat, wear something a little warmer. Their A/C is kicking in there and it can be cold sometimes.

I found a limited menu here: http://www.happyfishvi.com/our-menu/

But very happy they have a lot more sushi than this! Hopefully we can get there by 6 to grab carry out to eat at the villa.

One more question about food stores. Are Pine Peace's prices that much better that we should make a stop there as well as Starfish? Or just do PP?
