Forum family,
you guys always come thru. my FIL is really sick and in hospital--he has multiple issues recently an embolism and double pneumonia--but bladder ca, hx of mult bypass, apnea, emphysema, etc. he is in pain and depressed--he is SUCH an amazing man-- who is an amazing grandpa and an amazing FIL--i can't imagine life without him-- but he is so sick...i want him to have a good safe passage and so we need prayers--(is that morbid?)

Not morbid at all but a recognition that this wonderful person's journey here is coming to a close. I pray for him to have a gentle passing to the next life surrounded by the warm embrace of those he loves and who love him.

Sorry to hear about this Loria. Morbid? Not at all. You have an understanding of the situation. I went through it last year with my sister passing and was by her side for her last days.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your FIL sounds like a wonderful person. It is horrible to see someone you love suffer so much and as tough as it is to lose that person, you have to have faith that they will soon be pain free and at peace.

I was with my FIL when he passed and I was so glad to see his pain gone.
