Any of you folks a Spirit credit card holder?

I have the Delta Amex, but I think I could get to STJ a couple of times a year free if I time it right with Spirit. Any issues with redemption or anything else?

I realize Spirit is not exactly top notch, but I can put up with a lot of crap in exchange for free trips to the islands.

Yep, we do (I am embarrassed to admit) but we like it for two things - first, if you show it you board first - no lines, and second, a free domestic ticket (or the Bahamas) is only 5,000 miles in low season and we just got two free tickets from Detroit to Ft. Lauderdale in May for only 5,000 miles each. Dates are pretty restrictive but they outline every available day on their website and the amount of miles it takes to redeem on that particular day. So....for us it's worth it.

Yeah, I looked at their schedule. Our youngest graduates high school this year, so we will no longer have restrictions due to school schedules. May and early December qualify for the lowest redemption cost and those times seem like good ones to me for taking free vacations. I think I'm gonna do it.
