Are Bandit and I it from TN??

Okay, I've seen a gazillion people on the forum (okay, maybe a small exaggeration) from New Jersey, Virginia, California, Wisconsin - everywhere but TN. Where are all the Tennesseans? Is there anyone lurking out there? Are Bandit and I it?
Bandit, looks like you and I have to carry our state alone..... think we can do her proud?
It feels so lonely....

I think you are smart Vicki...very smart!VickiH wrote:I think we're from the same end.
And yes there is at least one lurker/occasional poster out there from Tennessee that I know of but none from the (insert 3 letter expletive here _ _ _)end of the state.
Then again, why would anyone from Mem-phus be on here anyway? Maybe you aren't as smart as I first thought!

Okay, Bandit, let's see how smart YOU are.
Here is a TN test. If you are from where you want me to think you are from, you should know where I am from. My county is known for its tomatoes. Any ideas?

Hmmm, Bandit, either that was a lucky guess, quick internet research or you REALLY are from a small rural town in TN northeast of Knoxville (I'm not sure I'm convinced). Yep. Rutledge it is. I live on Cherokee. I always say I am from Knoxville though. Don't we all? (I do work in Knoxville, so is it really a lie?
) No one knows where "Rutledge" is and it sounds so countrified. At least I don't have to say I'm from "Bean Station, TN." That's where my husband was born and raised. First time he told me where he was from, I thought he made it up.

Hey BenChill - thanks for coming out and supporting TN! We have good friends that live in Chattanooga, so we are down there quite a bit. Great city. I'd love to see Knoxville make some of the changes Chattanooga has. We are headed that way, but we are far behind! I went to Lee University (back in the day when it was Lee College), so I lived over your way for a few years.
