Island Playlist

Post by Creative Name »

Ok, so here in Michigan it has warmed up a bit, but it is still Michigan in February. I'm looking for some pick me up music. When you want to be reminded of St. John what do you listen to? Do you have a St. John playlist?

I'll start with something obvious.

1. Nowhere to Go, Nowhere to be, Kenny Chesney

Maho Jim, you are too smoothe. Sade? Out of my league cool.

I have to stick with a playlist of Jimmy Buffet doing various covers. My personal favorite is when he does Scarlette Begonias by the Grateful Dead or Lawyers, Guns and Money by Zevon. It always get me ready for an afternoon of post beach/hard drinkin at the Island Blues.

"Wicked Sexy Fun Groove" type music is what I'm into on vaca.
David Gray's "Sail Away With Me" is another chill jam.- also can't help but agree with Norah Jones. Yummy & sultry villa jam music.Love America, too.
Everything from Bob Marley to Andy Gibb. I'm down!
How about Jerry Lewis' version of "Witchcraft"? Anyone ever hear that one? Or better yet, Joe Pesci does a "Rat-Pack" type song behind the name of Vincent La Guardia Gambini,- Something along the lines of "Take all your love for me, and shove it up your a$$" Funny stuff, and somehow still holding a Casablanca feel...(ok, maybe not for the kids, nor vaca, but still funny...)
Could be me...
