Shuffle your iPod
Shuffle your iPod
Liamsaunt last suggested this in May 2009. Way overdue for another round, no?
1. Greg Kihn - Breakup Song
2. Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers - Anthem of Our Discovery
3. Squeeze - Up the Junction
4. Amos Lee - Windows Are Rolled Down
5. Television - Days

Here goes...liamsaunt wrote:We had fun doing this about six months ago, so I thought I'd post it again, and maybe we can all get some more new ideas for music. I've got a trip in two weeks and I need some new tunes!
Even if you posted to the last shuffle thread, post again, because your songs will be (should be) different this time!
Rule 1: shuffle your ipod or mp3 player, and post the first five songs that come up. NO CHEATING! No skipping over the potentially embarrassing songs you have on there.![]()
Rule 2: Purchase all of the awesome new songs you find out about through the forum link at the top of the page!
I'm first...there's only about five songs I don't want people to know about, so the odds are good that I am safe...

1. Greyhound: I Am What I Am
2. Oh dear....Abba: Dancing Queen![]()
3. The Shins: Phantom Limb (I got that one from another fourm music thread!)
4. Peter Gabriel: Down to Earth
5. Eva Cassidy: Fields of Gold

I was just thinking about this topic the other day. I really need new music so I hope lots of people reply. Here is mine (remember, no cheating!)
Kanye West: Stronger
John Lennon: Instant Karma
Cranberries: Zombie
Sean Kingston: Fire Burning (oh dear)
U2: Luminous Times

iPod, as she's not generally very well known in the states. A long time ago a musician friend of mine named Roger Henderson wrote a song that Eva recorded called
" Not a Penny To My Name". Eva never got real big before she died. Anyway, I saw Roger a couple of years ago and he said that he was just about broke when all of a sudden these pretty decent royalty checks started coming in from that song. After all of those years it seems Eva's old albums got pretty big in Europe, and Roger was the lucky one.

I don't have any Frank on CD or mp3 - I think I am violating some kind of local code on that, so please don't tell any Jersey guys whose last name ends with a vowel.mbw1024 wrote: 3. Love and Marriage - Frank Sinatra

JT I really like Eva Cassidy. I don't remember how I found out about her, but I have all her CDs, which means it was a long time ago. I have not bought any actual CDs since I got my first ipod in 2004.
You didn't shuffle your ipod!
