Great X-Mas gift!!!!

Have airline tickets and we are leaving 3 weeks from yesterday! Can't wait to be back on STJ. It has been a challenging few months between finally selling our house after 3 years only to go through h"ll with the buyers and eventually ending the deal last week instead of having settlement next week. (long story, they wanted us to replace everything in the house from the roof to the furnace and air conditioner even though they are only 5 years old. Then they wanted us to give them $100k since parts of our house were not constructed to current code....um, that is fine except I can't help that my house was built 176 years ago and I can't fix alot of the things without dismantling my 18" thick stone walls!). It was a horrible experience and really put a damper on the holidays.. Then to top it off, my hubbys company sent him away from this past Wed. to late Christmas day. At least Emma is only 3 and didn't realize that Santa came a day late so her daddy could be home. Throw in strep throat for Emma & I the last two weeks and I am ready to get out of PA!

3 years to sell a house? Holy toledo. I thought our market had dropped when I see signs on the lawn for 6 months. I guess not.
