Thank you for your kind words. I realize this is off topic, but I haven't had much luck lately with sending PMs. If you would like to PM me, I have a DVD and a book which I would like to send to you for your husband's friend, who has also lost his/her precious child. I won't tell you that either one of these will help....because actually....nothing helps.....
However, I did find both the book and DVD to be quite inspiring.
I also thought it might be better to post on the open forum, in case any other folks here know of a friend or family member who is in need of knowing that they are not alone in what is, without a doubt, life's most difficult journey....please feel free to contact me, either PM or email, miaprincipessa11@aol.com

It was actually Berlingirl who had a friend lose a child. I think it would be fine to post the info on the forum. It's a sad fact that too many people have had to endure a loss such as yours.

I would love to know the name of the DVD/Book. I lost my 25 year old nephew this past October and my sister is having a real tough time. We're just holding her hand and leading her though life right now. I suppose that with time she will find a way to continue on, but for now she is stuck in limbo.

My heart goes out to you for your loss.

I am so terribly sorry for your loss; you and your sister will be in my prayers tonight. If you would like to PM or email me with your address, I would like to send the DVD and book to you for your sister.
The DVD was produced by a very dear friend of mine who lost her daughter, Erika to a rare form of sinus cancer. The "stars" in the DVD are parents who tell of their own personal journeys through the hell of losing a child....it is titled Potraits of Hope
I could go on and on, but since this is sooo off topic, I will give you more details in a private message.
