Houston native and trips to STJ the last two summers....There are none. From Houston you have these options:
1. AA - one stop in Miami is the best you can do.
2. Delta - one stop in Atlanta is the best you can do.
3. Continental - usually not $ competitive on this run, but one stop in San Juan, PR is the best you can do.
4. I think you can get a United flight through Charlotte, too.
I've done both AA thru MIA and Delta thru ATL and prefer the AA route and times. Delta gets a small nod because you can fly out of Hobby airport instead of Bush.

stjchica- we've done both of those routes. Only downside to SJU (imho) is the little plane you have to fly between SJU and STT- I'm not a fan. So we usually go down through MIA. Puts us in STT at 3:30 and we can usually catch the 5 pm ferry. On the return, going through SJU (and stomaching the little plane), gets us better departure times, so we often do that. I'm usually still so much in a walk of woe funk that the little plane doesn't bother me as much on the return
