lobster

Post by LauraD »

Good Evening, From what I have read on the NPS site if I understand correctly, there does not appear to be a "lobster season". I see where there is a whelk and conch season, so can you take lobster year round? It mentions 2 per person per day. Also, can you use ticklers? Thanks, Laura

It's all true, tickle away.

And if only to be so lucky, you may never be in possession of more than 2 days worth of haul at any one time. For me, I've not found that to be a problem :x

Yeah, I will bring the ticklers, had already planned on bringing snorkel gear and my brother will rent scuba gear. We will be down for a family reunion next July. Laura :D

Can I expect to purchase live lobsters on island? If so, suggestions on where and what a reasonable cost would be?

Thanks!

Not really - I haven't seen any for sale in probably a year or more and then I only found them because I knew someone who dove for them and before I met him I never saw any for sale
