Halloween Jello Shots

Post by Heather »

We have many parents that accompany their little trick or treaters to our house so I thought this year I'd offer them some Halloween jello shots. I've been trying to find the right recipe when it dawned on me that the real experts on this are probably right here on this forum. I've never made jello shots before so all recipes and advice are very much appreciated! And I'll be very careful that no little ones get the shot treats

Happy Halloween!

You need to get those small plastic cups with covers. I get them at BJ's. They are usually used for condiments.
1 pack of jellow (any flavor)
Boil water, mix 1 cup of boiling water with the jello and add 1 cup of vodka mix well and pour into the cups and cover. Refrigerate for a couple of hours.

You can do variations like pina colada flavored jello with rum, margarita jello or lime jello with tequila. You get the idea :D

Heather, one tip I learned is to get the small boxes of Jello. I got the big boxes, and not only does it use up a lot of liquor, you have Jello shots for miles!!

I just made Jello shots for the Jimmy Buffett tailgate a week ago, and here's what I did:

Peach Jello with Cruzan Mango Rum
Strawberry Banana Jello with Cruzan Coconut & Cruzan Pineapple
Raspberry Jello (I love the blue!) with Stoli Blakberi Vodka

YUMMMMMMY!!!

Here are some I made last summer....
