We're back!

Post by alw1977 »

We just came back from St. John last night. We were there for 8 nights, and we had a group that fluctuated between 7 and 9 people, including our infant son. It was our fourth trip, and by far the hottest weather we've experienced on island. We had a good time though, and I'll begin to write a detailed report later. We stayed at Blue Agave villa, which we liked a lot.

Highlights: our BVI trip with an awesome private charter captain, Smuggler's Cove, two dinghy days, turtles galore, Happy Fish and an ocean that was calmer than our villa's swimming pool.

Lows: the heat, heat rash on our infant son, a trip to Myrah Keating Center, mosquitos galore, the heat, the heat and the heat. Oh, and the fact that like 5 restaurants were open.

Oh yes, several. Donkeys, turtles, cows, goats, pigs, cats, dogs, lizards, iguanas, mongoose and squid.

Looking forward to your trip report. I am considering Blue Agave for our trip in June. It will be 7 of us, including our 2.5 year old son. Any pros/cons at Blue Agave for a toddler? Thanks for any advice. God bless.
