1. Make a list of all the things you want to do this trip

2. Start packing

3. Lost 10lbs

4. Window ship at Stjohnspice.com for all the fun things you will get when on island

5. Surf restaurant menus

Cruise Steve Simonsen's website: http://simonsen.photoshelter.com/

Check out Caribbean Travel & Life's website:
http://www.caribbeantravelmag.com/

Change your desktop wallpaper every so often with a new picture of someplace you plan to visit while you're there. :)

Make some Painkillers and find a sunny spot to drink them.

Isn't this all stuff we do all year long (minus the packing)- trip or not?

I know I do! Did somebody say check out the SpiceCam multiple times a day and dream of seeing it live soon? If your gong to visit Jost, check out the SDB webcam multiple times a day, too.

I do think it's much more fun to be on this side of the ticker instead of the "woe" side....

What everyone else said - mostly I check the forum WHENEVER I can!!!! not sure what I am looking for, but the moral support for your addiction is very reassuring.

If this is your first trip, order "Feet, Fins and Four Wheel Drive" by Pam Gaffin, and "St. John Off The Beaten Path" by Gerald Singer.
Study!

I go to STJ yearly. The best remedy I have to pass the time waiting?

I bought a Wrangler. Top down, cruising the Ozark Hills in MO. I can almost imagine being on the island then.

And of course, rum (not while driving)...

i agree with what everyone said...def get a ticker though. Time flies and you will be surprised when all of a sudden it says 2 weeks until STJ. Hope you have a great trip. I am planning a trip now for next year. Just got back about 1 month ago from the last. Am back to reality and just today decided...I need a new ticker :)

Definately read/reread Off the Beaten Path. I find new things to do everytime I read it. Our "ticker" is over three years old and my St John punch list is almost as long as the book.

Get some Cruzan Rum (flavored) and do frozen rum shots and drink yourself into oblivion. When you get back from oblivion, it will be time to go......although I never spent 3 months in oblivion, so let us know how that goes... :D :D
