Mega Jenga

Post by Nancy_B »

We fell in love with Mega Jenga at Pirates Bight in May. We have recreated it and now play it on the Jersey Shore.

It draws quite the crowd when we wheel it to the beach in our radio wagon :)

Fun! We have the hook game from SDB on our patio at home- might be fun to add Mega Jenga out there, too (I have no beach close by unfortunately). Of course none of that replaces being there!

Yes, my husband made it out of 2X4s. It's heavy but we carry it in a big tote in a wagon to the beach - easy.

Soooooo, I really love this. Does it hurt when it falls on you?

Do you think a smaller version (same proportions) would work for little kids? Or is a big one ok?

We must make a set for the cabin!

I have no doubt that it does attract attention. You should start making sets and sell them!

djmom, we are super careful to keep kids away so that they don't get injured. You do usually have notice that it's going to fall. Folks on the beach will watch and then yell - "Jenga" when it does :) I'm not sure how it would work as a smaller set.

PA_Girl, would love to sell them and make a business to fund my STJ addiction but I would fear lawsuit for patent infringement.

That's Ron - my husband and builder of the Mega Jenga.

So, I guess the answer is 'yes'.
